Changes to Built In Driver

I am using ACCESS 2000. I am quering linked tables from an external database.
The administrators of the external database changed their database locale
from the default en_us.CP1252 to en_us.819 when they downloaded an informix
upgrade.

I have updated the ODBC driver in my control panel to reflect the correct
settings, but when I attempt to run a query in ACCESS the built in informix
driver setup pops up. The database locale is reset to the default.

It takes several attempts to reset and connect before the query will go
through. Is there a way to reset the settings on the built in driver inside
of ACCESS?

Did you reattach all linked tables? You should.

I think you mean did I re-link the tables. I did, but am still getting the
problem. I'm wondering if I need to create a new driver setup with the new
settings and create a new database in ACCESS as well, bring over all the
tables I need and recreate the old queries. It's gonna be alot of work but
it's soooo frustrating having to fiddle with the ACCESS driver each time I
want to run a query.
