Changed vid card, now picture "shearing"

I swapped out an older Radeon 7200 video card in a computer for a 9600
and now when I play video back, the picture "shears" or "lags" in the
middle during rapid movement in scenes. The resolution is the same so
given the faster card, I'm at a loss to understand why this would occur.

Did you uninstall the drivers, swap cards, then install the newest drivers?
