change default search engine for address toolbar

I want to change the default search engine that comes up if I type in
something to search for in the address area of the task bar. Right now if I
type in something other than an actual web address, MSN Explorer comes up.
Does anyone know if this can be changed [I want it to bring up the search
results in Google instead] and how?

If you type in other than a web address that means that it "must" be on YOUR
computer. Google is NOT going to search your computer unless you install
Google desktop search from http://desktop.google.com/?pr=mp-gd-en-v3-1

Well, but if I type in something to search on, say "summer clothes" what
automatically appears in the address bar field is
"http://auto.search.msn.com/response.asp?MT=summer+clothes&srch=5&prov=&utf8",
and then I get the MSN search engine, with Web Results for "summer clothes" .
So I'm guessing that somewhere in my settings, when I type in something that
isn't a web address, it directs me to the MSN Search Engine. Whatever makes
my computer translate "summer clothes" to the address line above, that's what
I'd like to modify. It's not a big deal, just a little convenience to type in
a search in the address bar.
