CD-RW Usage

N

news.verizon.net

I am new to XP and using the built-in Cd burning, am I right in thinking
that I can't just add files to a CD-RW - I have to erase the whole thing.
If you can I can't figure it out...???
Help. Thanks

XP's onboard CD writing is very basic. You will need third party software to
be able to use a CD-RW as if it were a floppy. It takes packet writing
software, such as Nero's InCD. There are others, I think ROXIO has one as
well.

Along the same line.... I'm using Nero but all the multi sessions I'd previously burnt while using Win98, now with XP, all I can see is the latest session
How do I access the previous sessions using XP or Nero?

is there any packet writing software that works as a sort of plugin for
windows explorer? I really like the idea of not having to start/use other
software. All I need to do is back up and then add to my CD-RW...
Thanks
Ed
