CD recording sofware

CD recording sofware will cause Windows to become
unstable. Windows has prevented these drives from loading.
My problem started when I tried to install Easy CD
Creator.

Hi,

Before loading Easy CD Creator, disable the native burning software.
Start/run msconfig, go to the services tab and uncheck the line loading
imapi burning service. Click apply/ok and reboot. Then start the new
software installation.

Make sure you are installing the Roxio Easy CD Creator version 5.0 and
above. You can later update to version 5.3 later.

If you have installed an earlier version of Roxio Easy CD Creator, uninstall
it and apply this fix:

You will get this if you try to install an Easy CD before version 5 -
especially if you install the Direct CD element or Take Two. You can
get away with Easy CD 4 if you install it on its own, and immediately,
before rebooting, run the upgrade to 4.05

To tidy up, get a registry patch file, cdgone.reg, from
www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click on it and merge
it into the registry

You will then need to reinstall any burning software that you *do* use.
