Has anyone had any problems with the Catalyst 3.6 drivers and MS Flight
Simulator 2004. I can't get past the splash screen before I get the "not

I have the 9600 Pro and am also having similar problems with FS2004.
Hopefully ATI address this problem soon.

My latest conversation with a MS techie resulted in a recommendation to
revert to the Catalyst 3.2 drivers. I'm going to continue to troubleshoot
*before* I take that drastic step!

Don't know about the shimmer (haven't really noticed any) but there are two
things you can do for the smeared text, either revert to Cat 3.2 which gets
rid of the problem or use the scroll buttons on the keyboard to scroll the
text and not the mouse. I don't know about waiting for a fix for ages,
hasn't FS2004 only been out less than 2 weeks?
