Caps lock key

Not sure if this is a Windows problem or not.
Googling "double click"+"caps lock" gives no answers.
I'm running Windows XP SP3, but it has also happened with SP2.

I have Logitech wireless S-510 keyboard and LX5 mouse combination.
I have the mouse configured so that pushing down on the scrolling
wheel is "double click".

Every so often,a strange thing starts happening: When I push on the
scrolling wheel, besides performing the double-click function, it also
turns the Caps Lock on.
Pushing it again, turns the Caps Lock off.
So far, I have only been able to correct this situation by doing a
System Restore.
After that, everything is fine for quite a while (weeks, perhaps) when
suddenly this Caps Lock thing starts happening again.

Any takers?

Thanks!

Be still, my heart! I hoped here would be the solution to this
problem. Instead, you asked:
Out of sheer curiosity, are you left handed?

No.
Out of sheer curiosity: What's the relevance?
Or did you mean "Do you have the mouse configured for left-handed
orientation?'
In that case, the answer is also "no".
And, if this is not TMI, I dress left.

Will all this info help you to annswer my original question?

I found that the Logitech mouse drivers caused more problems than they were
worth. Uninstall them - your mouse will still work - and see what happens.
