Can't start in Safe Mode or anything else!

Everytime I select the safe mode, the system just continues to start up,
which would be fine if it was starting up properly. HOWEVER, we have another
problem that is that the screen goes into "OUT OF RANGE". It seems the
computer is stuck in auto boot, any suggestions how we can reset this so we
can access the computer and make it start up in safe mode again. We are
using windows 2000 professional. I don't have the windows disk as the
computer has come from my work and both screen & computer were working
perfectly in my office up until last week. Am mystified, any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Take it back the office, connect it to a CRT monitor, then adjust
the resolution to something that is acceptable to your home monitor.

Have you tried a 'VGA mode boot? F8 at startup and choose 'Enable VGA Mode'
