can't send email

After more than a year of using Windows Mail on my HP, I suddenly cannot send
emails. I receive them with no problem. The error message is as follows:

Subject 'test message', Account: 'pop.comcast.net', Server:
'smtp.comcast.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number:
0x800CCC19

Any help would be appreciated.

Change Port 25 to 587.
Check to make sure " My server requires authentication " is check-marked.
