I am unable to send out any messages from windows mail. I can send mail
without attachments.l It seems like they just get stuck. I get the error

"Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'test'...
Error Number: 0x800CCC0F"

It was working fine about 2 weeks ago.

Things i´ve tried so far:

Removed the account, shut down WM, restarted WM added the account, looked in
Outbox so that it´s empty.

Disabling F-secure Internet Security did not solve the problem.

I Uninstalled F-secure Internet security that did not solve the problem.

Tried another mail account from the same ISP.

Tried a account from another ISP.

Tried borth with an without SSL settings activated.

All the time i am able to send mail without attatchments, but when i attach
something as small as 20 kb .txt file it halts.

What is the problem, and no i do not want to change my email program.

Did you ever have Norton or McAfee antivirus installed on that PC?
Those two require a special removal utility.

Was F-Secure still uninstalled when you got that particular error message?
