Can't run 16 bit application program on startup

After upgrading from Win. Me to XP. each time I start
windows I get " Can't run 16 bit Windows Program due to
insuffient memory. Quit one or more Windows applications
and try again to run this program."

Are you running the program using Compatibility Mode?

If not, try the following:

* Right click on the icon that starts the program (the
executable file).
* Go to properties
* Click on the Compatability tab
* Check the "Run this program in compatibilty mode for:"
box.
* Select "Windows 95" or "Windows 98/ME" in drop down box.
* Select Display setting if necessary.
* Click Apply and Okay.
