Can't remove file from My Computer

Hi,

I installed some Nokia software on my PC. It never worked on Vista, so I
uninstalled it. There's nothing remaining of Nokia on my PC now (there's
nothing in program files or anywhere else). However, when I click on my
computer that Nokia Phone Browser thing (the link to the image of the problem
is shown below) still appears. I don't know how to remove it.

Thanks in advance for any help that might come my way. Appreciate it.

Download a free program called ShellEXView and run it as administrator. It
should show you any residual hooks left by Nokia and allow you to delete
them.

I still can't remove it. I installed the software. It appears on there. When
I click on file, I get the option to remove the selected item from either My
Computer, Desktop or Control Panel, however I can't click on any of them.
Those 3 options all appear in grey, not black, so, I cannot select any of
them.

Thanks for replying.

Any other ideas?

It's a namespace item, that can be removed by deleting the "Nokia Phone Browser" GUID.

You could try to remove Windows registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{416651E4-9C3C-11D9-8BDE-F66BAD1E3F3A}]

That should remove the Nokia Phone Browser

To open the Registry Editor, type regedit.exe in Start, Search box and press ENTER. Beforing modifying/deleting a key, be sure you backup the branch first by exporting (File - Export option) to a .REG file.
