When trying to move files from the inbox to the pst file mailbox.pst which is
broken down into various folders I get this error: "can't move the items. the
item could not be moved. it was either already moved or deleted, or access
was denied". When tring to move that same email to mailbox2.pst which is
broken down in a similar way it works. I am using OL2003 on XP Pro.
mailbox.pst is 1.92GB.

Have you run the Inbox Repair Tool on that PST? Is that PST an ANSI (OL
97-2002) PST or a Unicode (OL 2003) PST?
