This is a problem I haven't had before. I just moved out
of a university-owned apartment, where I was provided
university internet. Now I am using broadband.
I go to "new connection", then "set up my internet
manually" etc, then when I get to where I should be able
to choose "use a broadband connection that requires a
username and password", it's grayed out. The only optino
available is "use a broadband connection that is always
on".
I've used username/pw broadband in the past with this
same computer, so I'm clueless as to why it would be
doing this now. I did install a wireless PCI card
recently, but I'm not currently using it, and it's been
disabled.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
