Hello!
I have been having problems with flash of late. I usually use the free
version and up until a month or so ago, I had no problem viewing flash
content on the web.
However, it has lately been a big problem. I finally had to install
netscape 7.1 to view flash websites. While this is not a problem, I
appreciate being able to visit all websites in one browser window and not
have to use several.
I have downloaded many of the patches from Microsoft, as well as having
the Yahoo! companion bar. I have uninstalled and re-installed IE 6 as well
as the toolbar. I have not seen an improvement.
Is there anyway to know what is causing this? Flash simply will not work
for me in IE6. How can I fix this? I have also tried to install flash, but
it will not run after the install.
I've been reading on here, now, and see that I am not the only one having
this problem. I did find the getflash.exe (I run Win2K Pro), but it won't
work, either.
