IE and flash player

I tried to go to a web site that said that I needed to have flash player
installed (had installed at some point in the past and this had never been a
problem). I used the link on the website to go to the flash player site to
download flash player. The flash player site says that the download was
successful but IE will still not run the site. I can use another browser and
have no problems.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Uninstall and reinstall the Flash Player, you may have Corrupted during the
First Install or damaged files in the Flash Player. So better option
Uninstall Flash Player and Reinstall.
But be Sure your System clean from Malware/Viruses first by Scanning.
Hope this helps

Went to control panel and deleted flash player under remove/add programs.
Went to the macromedia site and downloaded again and the site said that flash
player downloaded successfully. However, nothing has changed in IE to view
sites requiring the flash player. I have even tried beta 2 IE 7 and it still
doesn't work. I can use Mozilla and opera and use flash sites no problem.
However, Netscape will not run them. IE is set as the default browser.

Hi ehuggins,
Why did you install IE7? it is still in testing Phase, you should not
install Beta Product on Productive machine (i.e. you are using it on the
open, on the www and for your day-2-day business.
Try this Disable all the Add -Ons in the IE Browser on the Programs Tab
Click on Manage Add-Ons and there Disable all Non-Ms add-Ons all Firefox,
Netscape, Yahoo toolbar, Google Toolbar.
Then click on Reset Web Settings on the Same window, Clear your Caches click
OK and Reboot your Machine and try the Media flash player.
If all gone well try to Go Back and Enable Add-Ons One-By-One and see which
one cause the Problem and Leave it Disable or try to Update it form it's
source website.
Hope this helps.
Please write back with your findings
