can't delete or rename files

I tried to back up my WINNT file on cd, and it said file too large. I tried to
delete it, and it won't let me delete.
I deleted all but 7 files in system 32.

They say read-only file and can't be deleted.

I can't right click to delete.

I tried quarantine with anti-virus software - that didn't work.

I did try sytsem restore for several different days, but as soon as I turn
my computer on there is always a message that files are waiting to be
written.

I don't know what else to try.
This is jamming up my cd writer.Now I can't copy anything else on cd. I
don't know what to do.

I have windows xp2.

Can someone please help me?

I don't have this option about file sharing in my list.


"Under Advanced Settings, click to clear the Use simple file sharing
(Recommended) check box, and then click OK. "
