Can't Copy pictures

Very strange... I'm trying to backup my pictures (think my hard drive may be
dying) and every picture I try to copy (XP Copy to cd) says I'm getting an
error copying. Tried it trhough XP and my Kodak software. Please help... I
don't want to lose 500 pics of my 2 year old.
