Can't connect to the internet to get MSAntispyware Updates

I have Windows XP & DSL connection. WHen trying to get
Microsoft ANtispyware updates, I get return message that
it cant' find connection. ANyone Help?

What Windows version are you running, and what version of
Internet Explorer is installed?

For the Internet connectivity issue, please go to a
command prompt and type:
netsh winsock reset
and hit enter.

I'd recommend restarting in safe mode and scanning again,
doing full scans, and continuing to scan until a full scan
comes out clean.
Then let us know how things are going.
