Can't connect to internet after running msas

I installed MSAS on Windows XP Home. However, after MSAS
removed four spywares (NEWDOTNET, CNSMIN, etc) and the
system restarted, I can not connect to the internet
through my cable connection. I can't ping any website.
When I tried to connect to my office using VPN, I got some
error message: can't establish connection with socket
1047. I searched online and couldn't find any solution. I
need to connect to my office. This is urgent. Please
help!!!
