Can't connect my hotmail to outlook express

Can somebody give me directions on how to make Hotmail
work with outlook?

This is the message I get, and I can't seem to change it.
(message in Dutch, but just says it can't

I would delete the current hotmail account and start over.
In the toolbar, click on Tools
From the Tools Menu, click on Accounts
Click on the Tab at the top that says Mail.
Click on the Hotmail Account then, delete it.
Click on the Button to the right that says Add, then, click on Mail.
Follow the prompts to enter your name, e-mail address, password. etc.
Outlook Express will recognize the settings needed for Hotmail and set the
account to send/receive mail.

Many users have been having similar problems with Hotmail-in-OE recently.
The error you received usually indicates problems on Hotmail's end.
