Can't activate real time protection

Steps:
1) go to "real time protect"
read: "All agents are currently in-active!"
2) go to any agent, say Internet agent

Perform a repair to re-activate them,

Here's 3 ways to do that:

1. Goto "Start Menu" > "Control Panel" > "Add/Remove
Programs" > Click "Microsoft Antispy" and you will
see "Click Here For Support Information" press this and
then choose "Repair".

2. You can also press Change on the Add/Remove screen
entry then when the maintenance wizard opens
press "Update" then "Install"

3. Goto "Start Menu" then "Run" and copy and paste this:

MsiExec.exe /I{536F7C74-844B-4683-B0C5-EA39E19A6FE3}

This will also open the maintenance wizard so again
press "Update" then "Install"

When its finished the protection should be re-enabled,
There is a bug in some of the checkpoints where they will
not re-enable after being deactivated but I'm sure the MS
team are well aware of this as its been reported alot on
here, Following the repair options above will activate
them again

Thanks Andy,

Read your response to someone else's problem and it
solved mine. I love these forums, most questions/answers
can be found here. Or, someone who knows how to help
will always give you advice.

Thanks again,

John

No Problem John,

I agree its a great group of people on here and most
problems can be resolved without too many problems,

Not sure who asked for the donation but I dont think MS
need any help with Bandwidth or Hosting expenses :)

Regards

Andy
