Cannot Register Online

My Windows XP Pro Edition came with my Compaq Computer. I
restored my PC numerous times therefore I registered my
copy of Windows XP Pro with Microsoft number of times,
successfully. Now, I restored my PC once again, but
cannto register online with Microsoft. I keep getting the
message "Online Registration Wizard could not send your
information to Microsoft. Fill out the yellow card that
came with this product". I get te product activated
online (OK). I also do not have any "Yellow Card" as the
software came bundled with my PC.

1 - You don't need to regsiter. This is optional. It only gives you one free
tech support call. Not worth it at all.
2 - If you do regster, you only do it once. Once the product is registered
in your name it registered. You don't need to register it again after every
re-install.
3 - Activation must be done after every re-install, as you did, and it went
thru fine so your all set.

As long as you get it activated that is all that is needed. You do not
need to register at all - let alone after every recovery.
