Cannot open new windows

I'm not sure what I did, but when I click on a link that
launches in a new window, the browser window pops up, but
is blank. The new window never times out, or displays an
error. Just blank and it is frustrating.

There seem to be a number of people who are experiencing
similar sorts of problems after upgrading to IE6 SP1 and
then applying some of the recent security patches to IE.

Hi Kumar,

1. Click [Start] [Run] type:
(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [Internet Options] [Programs] [Reset Web Settings]

If this does not help, run this fix:
