Cannot open MS Outlook 2003 got error Message

when I open the outlook, I got the error message "Cannot start MS office
Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be
opened."
Can anybody help me? I am using window XP and MS office (basic edition 2003)

Locate your pst-file and use scanpst.exe to scan it for errors.
