Outlook won't open

Each time I try to open MS Office Outlook (2007) I get an error message (no
code) stating "Cannot start MS Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook
window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could
not be opened." This computer was set up to use MS Server Exchange protocol,
but has since been taken off of the network and is a stand alone unit. All
attempts to enter the program, offline, retry, regular, have resulted in this
failure message. Besides a hammer, is anyone experienced in this?

Use the Mail applet in Control Panel to configure the correct account type.
