Hello all,

I wanted to stop my a contact from being in the first Messenger group I see. Therefore I tried to move them to another. However every time I try, it copies them to another, says it cannot move the contact, and signs me out. So instead of my ex being in one MSN group too many, they're copied into five :(

Why did this happen? I don't have any problem moving any other contacts. Could it be linked to the fact this person may have blocked me?

Dear JCB

Right click over the name/address concerned and go for 'block contact' first and then 'delete contact'.

However, this means that you won't be able to talk to that person again or 'see' them online.

Try that and see what happens.

Let us know

Gabriella,

Regrettably, as stupid as this may be, I might want to talk to that person some time again. Thanks for the idea though!

James.

Hi JCB

What is it you are trying to do??

Post back some specifics and we will see what we can do.

You are right, if you go for the delete/block option, that means it's gone forever.
