Cannot login into Windows XP Pro

Folks,

I have problems logging into windows after a made the
following change to my company laptop (Which had a domain
name)

I used the Network identification wizard by clicking on My
computer and going to the "computer name" tab>Network ID
and chose the option from "This computer is for home use
and is not part of a business network". After I applied
the settings and restarted the computer, the computer does
not allow me to log in. In the login screen, when I use my
login name and password, it fails to log in.

Navigation: Right click on My Computer>Properties>Computer
Name>Network ID>select This computer is for home use and
is not part of a business network.>Apply>OK>Restart the
computer

Remove the user name and do not type a password.
Workgroups do not support domain logons.
