Cannot link to page in IE6

I have one web site (www.bhphotovideo.com) where I can no longer link to
most of the links on the main page UNLESS I right click and select "Open in
New Window". The main webpage comes up fine. If I attempt to either click
on most links, or right-click and "Open", I get a long wait, then the "This
page cannot be displayed" screen. Interestingly, if I press the "Go" button
(to the right of the address bar while on the ".cannot display" screen) the
requested page displays immediately. Once I have managed to get to a page
this way, I can access it via HISTORY. That page then comes up fine, but
all its linked pages have the same problem.

The only link from the main page that does work is the"Wish List" which goes
to a secure site that has a different prefix.

This problem exists only on this one computer. This site works correctly on
four other computers on the home network.

This problem seems to have appeared yesterday. I have been using the site
on a regular basis for over a year with no problems.

This problem does not appear to happen on other sites that I have tested
this morning.

I created a new user account on this machine and the problem exists on this
account too, so I suspect that it is a MACHINE related problem rather than a
specific USER problem.

Operating environment:

a.. Dell Dimension 8300
b.. Win XP Pro - current on all updates
c.. IE6 - SP1 current on all updates.
d.. Home network with all linksys equipment. All equipment used in testing
is connected via CAT5.
e.. Comcast broadband

So far I have

a.. Reset all network equipment (Power down wait 1 minute, power on)
b.. Deleted all cookies, temporary internet files and history. I used the
browser based tools, a third party product (zDelete) and I just went in and
deleted by hand.
c.. Disabled all firewall and virus software. (McAfee)
d.. Disabled Google PopUp Blocker, then uninstalled Google Toolbar.
e.. Reset all browser options to default (Ie ->Tools->Internet
Options->Advanced)
f.. Run full virus scan (current updates - Mcafee)
g.. Run SpyWare scan (Mcafee)
h.. Rebooted many, many times.
i.. Cussed and carried on.

Any ideas?

I thought I was alone in this. I too, am having this same
exact problem, only with anything Yahoo. Other people,
also, do not seem to be encountering this problem. I have
the same problem again when I use multiple accounts. I
use Windows XP Home edition, IE-6, but own a Compaq
Presario 1700. I have used this site for over a year,
too. I have tried the steps that you have also taken. I
would be interested to hear how to fix this as well. If
you receive a response, could you send/forward it to
pdbossom(remove this)@yahoo.com? I will be checking it
from another computer. My thanks!

Additional:

Have downloaded and run

CWShredder - Nothing Found

Ad-Aware -- Found 1 reg key and one exe. Deleted both, rebooted,
problem still exists.

ARGHHHHH

Same problem if I use Netscape. Same problem if I use Mozilla. Only on
this one machine. All other machines work OK.

This is nuts!

Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem. I went through all of the steps that the
helpful sorts here recommend ( CWShredder, AdAware, SpyBot, etc...) to no
avail. None of them found a thing worth worrying about.

It would help us if you give us the web address which cannot be linked to.
Perhaps we too have the same problem unknown to us.

It appears to be random. If I go back and try it at a later point it
sometimes works. It's almost like there's some DoS attack going on against
Yahoo and Google.
