Problem Solved!!
I went into "Network and Internet Connections" in "Control Panel", then "Set
up or Change Internet Connections", the "Connections" Tab and Removed the "My
ISP" Dial-up. I then Clicked "Set-up" to Get to the New Connections Wizard
and let it automatically set up with the Verizon Disc in the CD drive. Finish
and try the updates.......BINGO! It worked.
