Cannot get updates - error 8007051A

Vista Home Basic gets 0x8007051a error when trying to install SP1. Also when
running Windows Update I get the same error.

Googling doesn't help at all.
On XP renaming c:\windows\softwaredistribution and registering dlls works
when updates won't. What can I do in Vista?
BTW System has just been put through System Recovery, so is very basic Vista
Home Basic.
