Cannot iinstall SP1

S

Sue Lamers

I have Vista Home Premium and cannot install SP1. .

Windows Update shows 62.9MB is downloaded (everytime I try to download it)
and after many minutes at at 20% and still 62.9 MB it tells me that 1 or
more updates could not be installed..

I have disabled the update service, renamed SoftwareDistribution file and
restarted the updates service. I also followed the instructions for the
error code 80070002 but nothing helps. I have also activated the hidden
Administrator and logged in there and tried - no luck.

My internet connection is a fast one and is fully working so no problem
there.

This is REALLY frustrating can anyone please help?

Regards

Sue
