did all that already, still the same error...called dell and
suddenlink....dell can't figure it out..and suddenlink said my mail was
broken to where it won't save my p.w. and user name... =( I can however
go to webmail.suddenlink.net and log into my email from there just fine...so
the username and p.w. are correct.

Try deleting the Account and rebuilding it from scratch?
Restart your PC after deleting the account.

Remember all your settings for it, or use the link to Suddenlink.
HTH?

I am baring with you :)

You need to remove all traces of Norton and McAfee from your machine.

Having either of those AV programs installed causes all manner of problems
with WM, having them BOTH ---WOW!!

Looks like it's saying a username is missing in one of the places it needs
one. Are you, for example, sending mail with all the addresses on the
Bcc: line? Some email servers require at least one address on the To:
line to handle the mail correctly, so you might as well put your own
address there since anyone who gets the mail will see your address as
the return address anyway.

Everything was fine til yesterday...I could send/recieve email with no
problem...I just always did the To...and subject line....So I dont' get how
that could create a problem after haven it for 2 months ....... it does
thiswhen i try to recieve my email...and won't send any outgoing
emails....and I get that windows security box askin for my un and pw...and
each time i type it in...it just pops back up..but when i go to my
webmail.suddenlink.net, I log into email just fine and can send/recieve....
