Cannot access some Web sites

I seem to be having the same problem as Rob Walker above.
I can access "normal" websites but I cannot access
secured/password protected websites. I get the same error
message as Rob. Can somebody help?

Hi Ed, try this...

Start ->Run ->regsvr32 softpub.dll -> OK ->OK (dll
register server in softpub.dll - Succeeded - will come up
after pressing OK twice) (this should allow access to
secure sites)
