Cannot access a secure website

I cannot access a website in that IE6 will not allow my
user name and password to be authorized. I get the
message that the necessary cookies for that site are
blocked. I have checked internet options under tools, and
then privacy tab and all cookies are enabled. I have
accessed this site many times in the past successfully. I
have also run sfc /scannow. After running I still can not
access site. Any suggestions as to what has gone wrong?
I have not installed any additional software since I last
accessed this site.

I am not well-versed enough to go directly to a sure-fire solution, but I
think this suggestion will work for you, and buy you time to truly resolve
it....

You should be able to allow cookies on a per-site basis....
a.. go to the tools menu of IE6 and choose internet options
a.. go to the privacy property sheet
a.. click "Edit" then enter the site you wish to grant access to, and click
"Allow"

....or did you already try that....

I have been having the same problem with my internet
banking website. I don't know what I have done differently
and all of the sudden the site will no longer accept my
log on. I have contacted the website and they were no
help. They said I may have a problem with my isp. Please
post any suggestion or fixes that you may find.
