Can only access web as one user

I am sure there is a simple solution and I just don't see it but...

I can only access the wireless network connection (linksys) as Clyde.
Other users on this laptop cannot connect, even if they have have the
same priviledges as me (admin). It is not a networked system, but a
standalone laptop.

I have windows XP, IE. 6.0.2900. I just bought the laptop so there are
very few programs on it. (I have McAfee sercurity, firewall and
spamkiller. I deleted McAfee Privacy Service thinking it might be the
problem (it wasn't) All the McAfee settings are the default settings
it came with from Dell.

Any suggestions? My son wants to use his new laptop but we don't want
to give him admin priviledges (knows just enough to be dangerous, but
thinks he knows it all and isn't afraid to download and monkey with
files)

Many thanks

Clyde

Hi Clyde
Did you Make the connection available for all users on the laptop when you
set up the connection.
Try to Check the option on the Dail up Window under the User name and Password
to make this connection available for all users on this Laptop.
Is Mcafee set up to protect all user also on this laptop?.
Hope this helps

What you are suggesting makes sense but I am not sure where to find the
option to make all users available to the internet. I looked around and
could not see one. I did not really set up the connection, I have
wireless installed inside my laptop and I just selected automatically
detect settings under the LAN connection option. (I have a cable modem
configured for wireless. It works fine on my wireless laptop) It found
it as me but not as the other users. Sigh.... I checked McAfee and did
not find an option to protect all users. I do not think there is such
an option.
