Can Not Send E-mail from Son's Wireless Router

I can send e-mail from my home wireless network and from networks at motels.
I can receive e-mail but can not send e-mail form my son's wireless network.
I get error 0x800042109. My ISP is embarq. My son's ISP is sbcglobal.
Embarq says I must use my son's ISP with his user name and password to send
e-mail. Is it possable to send e-mail from my son's house using my ISP user
name and password?
