Can not open Powerpoint files

I am unable to open certain Powerpoint files. I have Powerpoint 07 and I
have tried opening the files on other computers. One of the files I created
on my computer but added clipart at work. After the clipart was added I was
no longer able to open the file on my home computer. I have run the
diagnostics program and I also have the latest service pack. I do not have
any plug ins running.

I get the Powerpoint has encountered a problem error. I was playing around
with it last night and noticed that I get the same fault when I add clip art
to any of my presentations.

Which version of PPT? If I recall correctly, PPT 2003 did this out of the
box, and service pack 1 fixed it.
