How can I open Powerpoint 97 files? I have Powerpoint 2007

This is seriously ridiculous. I also have archive files and have purchased
2007 but there should be a plug in for opening powerpoint docs older than
2003. I have files created in 97 and 2000 which I cannot open. I do not have
access to Powerpoint 2003. Surely Microsoft can launch a plug in for 07 to
fix this?
