Can not delete file

I have a "com3.sra" file in my system32 folder that Norton has picked up as a
trojan. It states that it can't delete it. So I tried to do it manually. I
can find it through My Computer=>Windows=>System32 but when I click on
delete, it says "The system can not find the file specified." I have tried
- Booting up with an NTFS boot disk
- Booting up with the Windows CD and going through the recovery console
- Booting up in Safe Mode and Safe mode with Command prompt
- Hooking the hard drive to a different computer
- Backing up the System32 folder and deleting it
- Using a third party unlock tool
- Removing the read-only attribute
Anything I have tried gives me the same error. The properties for the
file say 0 bytes but the details through My computer say 146Kb. Thanks for
the suggetions so far. but nothing is working. What is this file, and how
can I get rid of it?

a: really, you should get support from Norton

b: maybe you should disable norton and use another
anitvirus because there are so many of them avail

c: maybe you should search the microsoft newsgroup dedicated to virus's
for posting and resolutions for this file; as this one is general help

We use norton on all our machines. I'm required to use it.

Didn't know there was one dedicated to viruses, but I'll look for
it. Thanks.
