Can not delete file

I have a "com3.sra" file in my system32 folder that Norton has picked up as a
trojan. It states that it can't delete it. So I tried to do it manually. I
can find it through My Computer=>Windows=>System32 but when I click on
delete, it says "The system can not find the file specified." I have tried
booting up with an NTFS boot disk and hooking the hard drive to a different
computer, but it gives me the same error both ways. The properties for the
file say 0 bytes but the details through My computer say 146Kb. What is this
file, and how can I get rid of it?

Have you tried booting up in to safe mode and then deleting that file?

Press F8 when you turn on your PC and select safe mode.....

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion. Sorry I forgot to mention that I had already
tried that too. In Safe Mode and Safe Mode with Command prompt

log into recovery console, log in,
locate that file and use the dos delete command..
