Can not connect to internet

I installed WinXP on a PC, which has previously crashed. I am using
wireless netgrear usb adapter. So during initial setup it didn't find
the internet connection. After that I installed the driver now at least
the netgrear connection shows green and shows as connected, but
whenever I try to connect to internet it comes back with no internet
connection.

I have the network connection to obtain the IP automatically as well.

Can someone help me restore the connection??
Thanks.
