Can I auto reply to messages not using Out-of-Office Assistant?

I want to auto reply to messages while out of the office. BUT, I would like
to customize the message more than the out-of-office assistant allows. Can I
create an auto reply rule using a custom e-mail template?

You can customize the Out of Office reply using the Window beneath the "I am
currently out of the office" radio button as well as rules. Click on the
Edit rules at the bottom for more choices.

Perhaps if you told us what you would like to do, someone can suggest a
method to accomplish it.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without

I'm sorry Milly I thought I did explain, I want more formatting options than
the plain text entry that the Out of Office wizard allows for. The goal is
the same...to send an out of office message (albeit a more personal one).

I did use the method that you mentioned (using rules under the out of office
message box), the trouble is that I get the reply message to send (exactly
how I want it) but it also sends a seperate out of office e-mail, I just want
the reply e-mail.

P.S. This is by no means an important issue, don't spend much time pondering
it.
