Create a rule for the Out Of Office Assistant

I need to create a rule for the Out Of Office Assistant so that it does NOT
reply to an email generated from one particular email address. I looked at
the available rule but did not see a way to tell the Out of Office Assistant
that when email comes from "Address A," do not reply. When email comes from
all other addresses generate the auto reply as usual. Is this even possible?

In OOA, click Add Rule. Select "Alert with" Click Action. I usually choose
the Play check box and specify a sound. Click OK. If you have other OOA
rules, check "Do not process subsequent rules". Click From and add the
person to whom the message should NOT be delivered. Click OK. Click
Advanced. Check "Only items that do not match these conditions". Click OK,
then OK. You should now see "NOT:FROM:<person>" checked in the "These rules
will be applied..." pane. Click OK.

This didn't work follwing the steps you outlined but it did present the
solution. When I followed this step emal was still sent by the Out Of Office
Assistant:

Check "Only items that do not match these conditions".

However, if I did not place a check mark inthis box, then it worked as it
should. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I don't see how it would NOT send messages to the named people without that
checked item, but if you're happy, so am I.
