Hello,
I would GREATLY APPRECIATE any help that anyone can provide! Here's the
quick scenario:
I have a client that lives in a remote, mountainous area, whch does not have
a highspeed internet access, with the single exception of Sprint (Mobile)
wireless. He purchased Sprint's mobile card and when he pluged it into his
laptop, it works great. For his small business, he needs a highspeed network
solution for his small MS 2000 domain. He tried plugging Sprint's card into
the domain server, but a message appears letting him know that they will not
allow highspeed internet access to be provided for a business "domain" server.
Now, here's the question:
Would it be possible to do the following:
1) Establish an internet connection to the laptop, implement ICS and then
provide a cable connection directly to the Domain controller? This will
provide internet to the domain controller, along with the other systems that
are members of the domain?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
