There is a series of sp2 directories in the c:\temp directory
One example is C:\Temp\f21a01afee4735f1641db2\sp2
These files have permissions that prevent viewing the subdirectories or
deleting the directories. The administrator account doesn't have access
rights. FIe Search shows Sp2\f21a01afee4735f1641db2 instead of
f21a01afee4735f1641db2\sp2.
After taking ownership and changing permissions, now sp2 has a single
subdirectory "update" (and presumably files below that)
Is this residue from installation that was not removed?
Are these service pack files from the OEM installation?
Is there a reason to leave the files in the C:\temp directory?
Would appreciate any input.
