Windows 7 Buy Windows 7 Pro?

As XP Support runs out tomorrow i'm thinking of getting Windows Pro 7 32bit?
Any good online places to buy from, have see it at novatech for £119, but can i get it cheaper??

Nothing like leaving it til the last minute eh? :D

Just get Win8/8.1, when win 9 comes out it will be a cheaper upgrade.

Why do you need the Pro edition?

Just got back to using the laptop after not using it for a while.
Thought of Pro Ed as thats the same version as XP Pro?
But may just get the cheapest version of Win 7?

The laptop is really just a backup & for testing software with.

Standard vs Pro

The laptop is really just a backup & for testing software with.
Surely that all the more reason to get the latest OS? Also Windows 8 is lighter on specs than 7. So it will run better on older hardware.
