Burning pictures to disc

I have done this before with my computer but can't do it now. i don't know
what's wrong. I have the blank CD in the drive. and i select the pictures,
and i click copy to disc...nothing...i right click the pictures and select
send to E drive...nothing...

Isn't there a wizard that's supposed to start?

Then when i try another way, it says the picture is being used by another
program...What am i doing wrong?

If you did it before and can't now it is probably due to the fact that you
used some CD software to copy music and it took over.

To get XP back, right click on your CD drive and click on Properties. Click
on the Recording tab and check "Enable..."

Or you after you select the photos you are not using the correct copy
command. You need to click on Copy to CD under the Picture Tasks menu.

If you do not have a Recording tab, the XP driver to copy to CDs was not
installed. So you can copy CDs to your computer but you cannot copy from
your computer to a CD, at least with XP.
This computer was purchased with XP on it or is it an older computer
upgraded to XP?
If this computer was purchased with XP on it, the manufacturer did load some
software to copy to CDs. It may be Nero, Roxio, etc. and you can use these
to copy photos to CDs. You simply use their option of copying data files to
CDs.
