Bug in updates for KB819696

I have downloaded and installed the fix for KN819696 a
number of times -- mostly unwitting. Auto updates and
manual scan for updates report that I need to download and
install this fix even though it has been successfully
loaded and installed a number of times. Here are a couple
of line from the Installation History:
Successful Sunday, February 29, 2004 Security Update for
Microsoft Windows (KB819696) Web site
Successful Tuesday, February 10, 2004 Security Update for
Microsoft Windows (KB819696) Web site

I call MS, and they gave me a procedure to stop this
situation, but it did not work. Anyone know what this is
all about???
