Browser Window Dragging

When I try to drag a browser window by clicking and dragging, it jerks
across the screen as if it is cascading. I get the same result when
scrolling. I have tried updating the software and even tried a
different mouse with the same result. I can click and drag an icon with
no problem but the browser window issue is not resolved. Am using
current version of ie and XP Pro. Have tried all the mouse settings in
control panel I know of. Please help.

Hi,
Check these settings...
Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> check "Use smooth scrolling."
Also...
Right-click My Computer> Properties> Advanced> Performance> Settings>
uncheck "Show window contents while dragging." (That one's not easy to
find.) <G> My personal preference is to uncheck everything except "Smooth
edges of screen fonts."
